Salary: £19207.50

Role: Permanent Contract 37.5 hours per week

Working hours: Working a mixture of early & late shifts or night shifts

The day-to-day duties:

  • Providing outstanding personal care

  • Supporting residents to develop independence and life skills

  • Assisting people to achieve daily goals

  • Assisting with the development of person centred plans for our residents

  • Supporting people in undertaking daily activities or development in their own apartment and in the community.

  • Daily activities such as arts, crafts and various activities

  • This includes employment, education and other opportunities.

  • Maintaining records and drawing up risk assessments

  • Compassion, good communication skills and a calm and caring manner are essential for this important role

  • Ensure Care Plans and other information about how to support Service Users are followed

  • Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support

Personal Responsibilities

  • Commit to achieving the relevant qualifications commensurate with the role

  • Attend statutory training and any other training as directed by management

  • Understand and follow all policies and procedures relevant to the role

  • Be open to learning opportunities

  • All employees are required to complete an Enhanced DBS and provide eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.

  • We take the health and safety of residents and employees seriously and you should be prepared to demonstrate that you have received appropriate vaccinations unless there is a medical reason that you cannot. Employees are required to participate in regular Covid-19 testing as per Government guidelines.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications required:

  • NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (Preferred)

  • 1 Year Adult Social Care Support Environment (Preferred)
